JOSEPH SHIFFLETT | President

Joseph Shifflett a dedicated and experienced leader, currently serves as the President of the Atwater Bombers Baseball Club. With a background in military service, Joseph proudly served in the Marine Corps and Army for a total of 10 years, demonstrating discipline and commitment to service. Transitioning to the field of education, Joseph has been an educator at the Merced City School District for 12 years, shaping the minds of young learners with passion and dedication. Furthermore, Joseph has shared their expertise in coaching for over 15 years across a variety of sports, with a special focus on baseball for the past 11 years. In addition to their professional endeavors, Joseph is a devoted family person, being a proud parent to three boys and celebrating 18 years of marriage. Through their involvement in the Atwater Bombers Baseball Club, Joseph continues to inspire and lead the community, fostering a love for baseball and teamwork among players and supporters alike.

CRAIG FLEMING | Vice President

He has thirteen years involved in youth baseball. Four of those years as President of Atwater Little League. Currently Vice President of Atwater Bombers Baseball Club.

LESA RASMUSSEN | Secretary

40 year resident of Atwater with over 10 years coaching experience in youth baseball programs. Retired with lots of time dedicated to community activities and family. Past work experience includes executive director for a non profit corporation, California State Legislature Senior Staff, local elected/appointed office including Atwater Elementary School Board and Atwater City Council. Married, mother of four and grandmother of 5.

JOHN RASMUSSEN | Treasurer

50 year resident of Atwater, graduated from Atwater High School and Merced College, President of the Atwater High School Alumni Association, Viet Nam veteran, married, four children and five grandchildren. Retired with a back ground in engineering, project management, 10+ years experience coaching youth baseball in Merced and Atwater.

JEFF & LEAH BROWN | JPD/LiveScan Records Custodian

Jeff & Leah Brown are parents of four active kids, supporting their academic achievements and athletic efforts in baseball, basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, swimming and band. They've been married for over twenty years and call Merced their hometown. Leah works for the City of Merced in Planning and Development Services. You've probably seen Jeff, if you've had an x-ray in Merced; he is currently working as a mobile x-ray technician throughout the Central Valley. Their eldest son was active in youth sports before finding musical talents and going to CSU Stanislaus as a Music Major. Jeff regularly assists their younger kids with their sporting activities and volunteers as an assistant coach for baseball. Leah volunteers for the Merced Marching 100, calling Bingo and selling fireworks. Both Jeff and Leah have logged many hours driving the MM100 band rig all over California. They are Atwater Bombers Boardmembers and Leah is the Custodian of DOJ Records. She served for over 4 years on Atwater Little League as past Treasurer and their Custodian of DOJ Records. They bring a wealth of knowledge in youth sports and show their dedication to youth activities in Merced and Atwater.
